ON THE MOVE
“On the Move” is a continuous experiment with movement—an inquiry into how bodies and forms traverse space. In this exhibition, I explore the dynamic interplay between figurative and abstract forms, united by a shared sense of movement and energy.
The figurative paintings present dancers, frozen in their gestures, as moments of suspended time. These works are about capturing a moment of choreography, but they are also about a meditation on movement as a metaphor for life, transition, and flow.
The abstract works reflect my own journey as an artist. Trained as a figurative painter, my focus has shifted over the years toward abstraction. These abstract pieces explore what happens when the figure dissolves—when movement is reduced to its most essential forms: rhythm, energy, and momentum.
“On the Move” aims to capture the physicality of dance but also symbolizes my personal artistic transition, where the line between representation and abstraction becomes fluid.
